TIPS FOR REMOVING STAINS

Tips for removing strains
Stains are not stubborn. You just need to learn their kryptonite to remove the unwanted spots on your fabric. Always remember to:
  • Read the fabric care label
  • Treat it fast
  • Know a suitable removal methods
  • Use clean materials to blot or dry up the stains
  • Start from the edge, towards centre
  • Dry it only when stains are gone

Tomato & Chilli Sauce
  1. Run cold water through the back of your fabric.
  2. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  3. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
  4. Optional: soak for 1 hour before wash.
Soy Sauce
  1. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  2. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it accordingly.
Chocolate
  1. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  2. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
  3. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
Grease & Oil
  1. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  2. Leave it on for 1 hour.
  3. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly
  4. Optional: soak in warm water containing JET powder detergent for 2 hours.
Chewing Gum
  1. Place an ice bag on the gum for a few minutes.
  2. Scrape off the hardened gum as much as possible.
  3. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  4. Wash it accordingly.
Blood
  1. For fresh stains, run cold water through the back of your fabric.
  2. Wash with JET powder detergent accordingly
  3. For dried stains, soak in JET powder detergent solution for 2 hours.
  4. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
Lipstick & Make-Up (BB cream, etc)
  1. Lay your garment on top of a towel (flat surface).
  2. Gently dry up the stain with baby wipes.
  3. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  4. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
  5. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
  6. Optional: Soak in warm water containing JET powder detergent for at least 2 hours before wash.
Mud
  1. Scrape off the dry mud stains as much as possible with an old toothbrush.
  2. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  3. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
  4. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
Water-based paint
  1. Scrape off the stains as much as possible.
  2. Soak in JET powder detergent solution for at least 2 hours.
  3. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
Oil-based paint
  1. Scrape off the stains as much as possible.
  2. Lay your garment on top of a towel (flat surface).
  3. Sponge it with white spirit/turpentine/paint thinner until the stain is gone.
  4. Apply a dash of JET powder detergent on the stain.
  5. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
  6. Gently scrub with hands and wash it accordingly.
Precaution:
  1. Test on a seam or inconspicuous spot of the garment to see if fading or bleaching occurs
  2. Success can be thwarted based on the duration that the stain had set, the material or dyes of the fabric and the nature of the stain itself.
